Skipton Building Society delivered a public activation at Borough Yards in partnership with Age UK and National Energy Action to highlight the issue of fuel poverty in the UK. An ice sculpture installation of terraced houses was created in Soap Yard by artist Sand In Your Eye, symbolising the scale of households affected by cold homes during winter. The activation was supported by campaign research and on-site engagement, raising awareness of the social impact of rising energy costs. The installation was live-built throughout the day, with content capture, public interaction and donation prompts forming part of the experience. The sculpture remained on site into the evening before being dismantled.
