Borough Yards and Tate invite Londoners to help create a giant paint-by-numbers mural of Frida Kahlo’s iconic Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird at Soap Yard from 25–27 September. Free and open to all ages, the three-day activation offers visitors the chance to add their own brushstroke to the collaborative artwork as it comes to life. Frida-inspired colouring kits will also be available to take home. The pop-up celebrates Tate Modern’s Frida: The Making of an Icon exhibition, open until 3 Jan and just a short walk away, while an online @boroughyards giveaway offers the chance to win a prize including two exhibition tickets and a copy of the exhibition catalogue.
