The Women That Made Us was a public art installation delivered at Borough Yards to mark International Women’s Day. At the centre of the activation was a large mirrored wall, inviting visitors to write messages to women who have shaped their lives. The installation created a shared space for reflection, gradually forming a collective mural of personal tributes across the site. The experience was designed to celebrate connection, recognition and self-reflection, encouraging visitors to engage with the installation in a simple and meaningful way. A preview event was hosted ahead of the public opening, followed by an open activation for visitors across multiple days. The installation also received coverage as part of wider International Women’s Day listings in London, positioned as a free and accessible public experience.
