From 6 May to July 2026, Borough Yards presents What Blooms Beneath, a new site-specific installation by London-based artist Hanna Benihoud. A trail of sculptural ‘blooms’ winds through the neighbourhood, inviting visitors to slow down, explore and discover hidden moments across Borough Yards. Inspired by fungi and the quiet growth that happens beneath the surface before spring emerges, the installation transforms arches, walls and passageways with translucent woven forms in soft cream, pink and burgundy tones. Created using crin, a weatherproof mesh-like fabric traditionally used in millinery, the works were hand woven over hundreds of hours and respond directly to the architecture and atmosphere of Borough Yards. Visitors can follow the trail throughout the estate from Borough Market entrances through Dirty Lane, Soap Yard and Stonecutters Lane
