Vinoteca to open at Borough Yards in early 2022

8 November 2021 – Vinoteca has today announced that it will open a new 95 cover wine bar and restaurant at Borough Yards, the large-scale new shopping and dining district in London Bridge.

The wine hotspot will be among the first to open at the development, which will house around 50 shops and restaurants, set across a series of reimagined Victorian brick railway arches, viaducts and warehouses, and across new open public spaces.

With a community of London’s best food suppliers on its doorstep, many of the fresh ingredients for Vinoteca’s seasonal menu at Borough Yards will be sourced from the neighbouring Borough Market. The new location will also have a focus on sustainability, with customers able to select a wide range of sustainably made wines from a regularly updated list of over 200 varieties.

The design of the space will take inspiration from the historic architecture of the area. Exposed brickwork from the heritage arches that house the new Vinoteca are contrasted with oak parquet flooring and dark ironworks, complemented by shelves filled with colourful wine bottles.

With a reputation as the ultimate location for wine lovers to discover new and exciting wines from around the world, Vinoteca joins Harts Group, Paul Smith, Butchies, Everyman Cinema and The Office Group as some of the first exciting operators to confirm sites at Borough Yards, and will open its doors in early 2022.
